There's a lot of decent greek/mediterranean places around but most of the time i am completely disappointed with their gyro meat.

Ingredients | Real Gyro2 cloves garlic, divided1 (19 ounce) can garbanzo beans, half the liquid reserved4 tablespoons lemon juice2 tablespoons tahini1 teaspoon saltblack pepper to taste2 tablespoons olive oilDirectionsIn a blender, chop garlic. Pour garbanzo beans into the blender, reserving about 1 tablespoon for garnish. Add reserved liquid, lemon juice, tahini, and salt to the blender. Blend until creamy and well mixed.Transfer the mixture to a medium serving bowl. Sprinkle with pepper and pour olive oil over the top.
